VOLUNTEER MINISTRY CENTER

 As of Tuesday September 5, 2023, The Reverend Bo Townsend will be serving as the interim CEO for Volunteer Ministry Center as the board of directors begins a search for a new CEO. The Reverend Townsend has a long history of involvement with VMC as a volunteer and recently he and his wife chaired the development of Caswell Manor, a new 48 unit permanent supportive housing project for VMC. Townsend has extensive experience in interim work at churches and previously at Ijams Nature Center. He was also the Director at Ijams in the 1990s. “VMC is a wonderful organization serving our neighbors in need. I am privileged to be able to step in and help in this period of transition.”
