KEEPIN THE LIGHTS ON
There are many in our community who when they flip on the light switch, they hope the lights do come on. For others, flipping the switch results in nothing. Through our Bush Family Refuge, many families seek assistance to either keep their lights on or have service reconnected.
Helping is easy. It is as easy as flipping a switch.
COMPASSION. ACCOUNTABILITY. RESULTS.
There is hope! The VMC Bush Family Refuge works with individuals and families in crisis who are at risk of losing their housing due to financial difficulty in meeting their utility and/or rental obligations. VMC works with these individuals and families to help them develop a plan to pay their bill and maintain their housing over the long term. Your gift will help someone keep their lights on and prevent them from becoming homeless.
For many of our families in need, sometimes just a little bit at the right time can make a big difference. A gift of $50, $100, or more can be used to “leverage” more funds to meet the needs of many. You can support Keepin the Lights On in one of three ways:
